Geoffrey Duffy

Geoff is an emeritus professor at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He has a PhD in chemical engineering and an earned Doctor of Engineering degree. He was the first chemical engineer to be elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in New Zealand. His research has focused on fluid mechanics and specialised rheology, heat transfer (especially radiant energy), drying and humidification. He has had more than 100 articles published in international journals, more than 130 published conference papers, and holds several patents. He has consulted widely in Scandinavia, Europe, Australasia and the USA.
